What we believe

  • We believe that, the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God.

  • "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." (John 3:16-17)

  • "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that on one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Our Mission

We are a Bible based ministry, located in Arizona's desert southwest  We are inspired by the words of John the Baptist, quoting Isaiah the prophet. "A voice of one calling in the desert, prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him." (Mark 1:3)  Using the technology available to us we want to share the word and love of God to the ends of the Earth.

For our Lord Jesus Christ is coming again, but He is coming to judge the world.  "By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men." (2 Peter 3:7) But, "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." (Hebrews 9: 27-28) You see, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." (John 3:16-18)

God loves you!  "He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9b)

And that is our mission here at, Desert Southwest Ministries.  We want to share the word and love of Christ Jesus to the ends of the Earth.  "Preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins." (Mark 1:4b) And following Jesus' last command before he ascended to heaven.  "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirt and teaching them to obey everything I have comanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  (Matthew 28: 18b-20)

"Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words will be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel." (Ephesians 6:19)  For, "I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes." (Romans 1:16a)
